Daniel E. Cardenas, Senior Vice President, Supervisory Analyst.
As Supervisory Analyst, Mr. Cardenas manages and develops Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett's research products and its team of equity analysts in Chicago. The firm is well recognized as a leader in providing in-depth research encompassing 110 financial institutions throughout the country. In addition to serving as Supervisory Analyst, Mr. Cardenas is also responsible for coverage of a wide variety of small and medium size community banks and thrifts. Mr. Cardenas joined Howe Barnes in 1993 as an analyst covering Midwest banks and thrifts and is widely quoted by both regional and national publications. Prior to joining Howe Barnes, he worked in the Supervision and Regulation Division of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago for four and a half years, performing supervisory financial analysis. Mr. Cardenas holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from St. Mary's University, San Antonio, Texas, and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from St. Mary's University.

Donald A. Worthington, First Vice President, Supervisory Analyst.
Mr. Worthington joined Hoefer & Arnett in 2002 as a research analyst with the primary responsibilities of covering commercial banks and thrift institutions based in California as well as supervising the firm's West Coast-based research. Mr. Worthington has over 29 years of management and analytical experience in the financial services industry, including 26 years with the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco where he last served as Vice President, Credit. Mr. Worthington received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from San Jose State University and an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University. Mr. Worthington, based in San Francisco, was selected by the Wall Street Journal as the #1 Bank Analyst in the country for 2004.

Kristin L. Hotti, Vice President.
Ms. Hotti joined Hoefer & Arnett in December 2005 from the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco where she worked in the credit and systems areas. Prior to that, Ms. Hotti did economic research for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Ms. Hotti covers West Coast-based financial institutions for Howe Barnes with an emphasis on California-based banks and thrifts. She is a graduate of University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Economics. Ms. Hotti is based in San Francisco, California.

Brian J. Martin, CFA, Vice President.
Mr. Martin provides the Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett equity research team with fundamental research on community banks and thrifts. He joined Howe Barnes in April 1998 from ABN AMRO where he was an associate analyst. In addition to his associations with Howe Barnes and ABN AMRO, Mr. Martin has prior professional experience with Everen Securities. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Finance from DePaul University, a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from DePaul University and is a CFA charter holder. Mr. Martin is a member of the CFA Institute and the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago.

Mary P. Quinn, Vice President.
Ms. Quinn joined Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett in August 2006 with primary responsibility for research coverage of community banks and thrifts in the Southeastern U.S. Ms. Quinn has over 20 years experience analyzing banks from both equity and debt perspectives on both the sell- and buy-sides with the likes of Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Banc of America Securities and Zurich Scudder Investments. Prior to joining Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett, she was the financial institutions analyst at Chicago-based AAM Insurance Investment Management. Ms. Quinn received an A.B. with General Honors in Biological Sciences and an M.B.A. in Finance, both from the University of Chicago.

Jason E. Werner, CFA, Vice President.
Mr. Werner joined Howe Barnes in February 2003 as an analyst responsible for covering Midwest and Southeast banks and thrifts. Prior to joining Howe Barnes, Mr. Werner was an analyst at Tucker Anthony, Incorporated from 1997 to 2002, where he covered Midwest thrifts and specialized in mutual-to-stock thrift conversions. Prior to joining Tucker Anthony, he was an associate in the financial institutions group at Rodman and Renshaw, Inc. Mr. Werner earned the CFA designation in 1998 and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Investment Analyst Society of Chicago. Mr. Werner received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Ryan J. Whitmore, Research Associate.
Mr. Whitmore joined Howe Barnes in August 2007 from Zacks Investment Research. He is responsible for reviewing bank and thrift data bases and providing analysis of the banks in our coverage universe. Mr. Whitmore is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a degree in Business Administration. He is a CFA Charter holder.
