Institutional
Our investment executives have extensive history serving
the largest money managers, insurance companies, mutual
funds and institutional investors in the United States.
We have earned their trust through exhaustive research and
by providing ideas and opportunities that are unique to
our desk. Our people work to increase the visibility of
our community banks and their management teams. We are regularly
engaged in institution road shows, investor days, conferences
and one-on-ones to help introduce our bank clients to the
largest pools of institutional money. With these relationships,
Howe Barnes has the ability to distribute equity, convertibles,
trust preferreds and debt, both through public offerings
and private placements.
Banks
Howe Barnes interacts on a regular basis with our bank clients.
Whatever a clients unique needs, our investment executives
are focused on delivering value and providing the highest
service. We spend extensive time working to increase the
visibility of our banking clients in their local communities.
This is accomplished by providing liquidity to bank shareholders
and customers in even our most illiquid names. Our investment
executives also help facilitate share repurchase programs;
using our contacts both institutionally and locally, we
have found success working with our clients in executing
share buybacks.
Individuals
Howe Barnes deals with many individuals who have found success
investing in our research ideas. We are committed to providing
the same level of professionalism and service to our individual
clients that our largest institutional clients enjoy. We
work with many bank directors and executives, as well as
high net worth individuals, who understand the long-term
benefits of investing in high quality community banking
organizations.
Trading
Howe
Barnes commits its own capital to making principal markets
for more than 450 banks and thrifts throughout the country.
Our traders are continually searching for and adding dynamic
community banking companies to our market making list. Our
list has grown on average of 15% for the last several years
as we continue to expand both the number and geographic locations
of the companies we trade. Howe Barnes unique philosophy
of developing a complete relationship with our banking clients
allows us to significantly impact the trading in many of our
stocks.
Howe
Barnes is actively engaged in the trading of non-SEC reporting
companies on the NASDAQ, Bulletin Board and the Pink Sheets.
We currently trade over 100 non-SEC reporting companies.
Many of our banking clients have found using Howe Barnes
as a market maker for their shares provides many benefits
to the institution and to their shareholders. Increased
liquidity, assistance in executing stock buy backs, anonymity
